Adam Hersh obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at Northeastern University in Boston, and completed 2 years of post-collegiate study to become certified in E-Commerce and Web Marketing. Using this expertise, he became one of the first eBay trading assistants in the country.

Adam Hersh Auctions started in 1998 as an online eBay based poster company, and in 1999 expanded into auction brokering for interested sellers who were not as experienced with auction sites. Over time, professional ad writers were hired to compose the content for the auctions, eBay specialists create the auction design, professional shippers were used to efficiently pack and send the items after sales, and top-of-the-line digital photo equipment was purchased to take the best quality pictures possible. All of these additions have made the company's auctions surpass any competitors in both quality and efficiency.

Even before becoming one of eBay's most successful Trading Assistants, PowerSeller Adam Hersh Auctions recognized the value of selling other people's property on eBay. He has sold more items, received more positive comments, and maintained his eBay membership longer than most Trading Assistants in the country. Over the past six years, Adam has held over 1,000,000 auctions on eBay as well as on other auction sites, and currently averages over 20,000 running auctions at any given time. Adam Hersh Auctions has worked with some of the largest organizations in the world, and most recently consults for several Fortune 500 companies, major national charities, and government agencies. Adam's staff, equipment, and experience result in a efficient, quality experience that gets your items a higher final price than auctions with other auctioneers.

If you have an item or items you need help selling online, email us or call us toll free at with a description of the product. After agreeing on fees and rules, we will take digital pictures of the item(s). You will then choose whether you would like to keep the item in your possession during the auction and be responsible for shipping it or whether you would like Adam Hersh Auctions to retain the item until the end of the auction and pack and ship it for you. We will then begin the ad writing process, and have your item listed with pictures on one or multiple auction sites within two (2) business days. At that time, you will be given a website address where you can watch the progress of your auction(s) as the action unfolds.

Our basic fee structure is as follows,
25% - All auctions that end under $100.00
20% - All auctions that end between $100.01 and $999.99
15% - All auctions that end between $1,000.00 and $9,999.00
10% - All auctions that end between $10,000.00 and $99,999.00
4% - All auctions that end $100,000.00 and up

There are other small fees that may be incurred, which are explained in more detail in our contract, but the majority of fees are listed above. After all fees are deducted, the amount you receive is still normally far greater than you would have received if you were to sell the item yourself…and with none of the hassle.

Feel free to contact us with any questions or if you are ready to begin our online auction adventure together!
